Random Blog Posts

This JavaScript application generates random links to posts on three of my Blogger blogs. It's based on the FTP blogs version of the "Blogger Feeling Lucky" script. I've extended it to support multiple blogs, and to display the title of the random post in the link's text.

It works by loading scripts from Blogger's site that return JSON objects and calls to functions defined on this page. Refer to the phydeaux3 blog post for more information on how it works.

A variation that removes the randomisation step, and simply fetches the ten most recent blog posts, is also available: Recent Blog Posts.

Tested with Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X. Unfortunately this script does not seem to work with Opera. According to Browsershots, the page works with Internet Explorer (versions 6.0 and later), Firefox, and Safari on Windows.
