ANZSIC Selector

This JavaScript application demonstrates how to create a set of dynamic hierarchical select lists (menus). When the selected option changes in one level, the contents of menus in lower levels are updated accordingly.

It's a cleaned-up version of Hierarchical Select Lists, using the hierarchy of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC):

"The 2006 Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) has been developed for use in the compilation and analysis of industry statistics in Australia and New Zealand."
"The ANZSIC has a structure comprising categories at four levels, namely Divisions (the broadest level), Subdivisions, Groups and Classes (the finest level)."

More details about the structure of the system can be found on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website.

Tested with Safari, Firefox and Opera on Mac OS X. According to Browsershots, the page loads and appears to work with Internet Explorer (versions 5.0 to 8.0), Firefox, Opera and Safari on Windows.
