S-Grapher/SVG
This SVG application lets you view some preset patterns called s-graphs. What is an s-graph? It's the name I've given to a pattern generated by playing around with some trig functions. These patterns look similar to spirographs, but use a different principle. Back in 1997 I wrote a Java applet called S-Grapher Lite. The SVG version extends the functionality by allowing users to create new s-graphs. Note: This version has been tested in Firefox 1.5.x, Firefox 2.0.x and Safari 3. It might work in other SVG-enabled browsers. An older version has been tested on Internet Explorer and Netscape running on Windows (at least it did when I tested it back in 2002), and also works on Netscape 4.7 running in Classic mode on Mac OS X. Requires an SVG-enabled browser, or an SVG plugin (such as the Adobe SVG Viewer 3.0, or later), and JavaScript must be enabled. If your browser is not fully SVG-enabled, a Flash version is available. If your browser supports the new <canvas> tag, try S-Grapher/<canvas>. Last updated: August 15, 2020 |
